Parent or Grandparent Sponsorship
Canadian citizens and permanent residents have the opportunity to bring their parents and grandparents to Canada through dedicated family sponsorship programs. These pathways are designed to promote family reunification and long-term stability.
There are two main options available:
- Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP):
Allows eligible applicants to sponsor their parents or grandparents for permanent residence in Canada. - Super Visa Program:
A long-term, multiple-entry visa that allows parents and grandparents to stay in Canada for extended periods without becoming permanent residents.
To qualify for the Parents and Grandparents Program, sponsors must meet specific requirements, including being a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, being at least 18 years old, residing in Canada, and meeting the minimum income criteria.
Sponsors are also required to sign an undertaking to financially support their parents or grandparents for a defined period and ensure they do not rely on government assistance.
At Atlas World Consultancy, we guide you through eligibility checks, income requirements, and complete documentation to help you successfully sponsor your parents or grandparents and reunite your family in Canada.
