Canada Caregivers: Pathways to Permanent Residence
Canada offers dedicated immigration pathways for caregivers who wish to work and eventually become permanent residents. These programs are designed for individuals who provide essential care to children, seniors, or individuals in need of support.
Eligible candidates can apply through programs such as the Home Child Care Provider Pilot and the Home Support Worker Pilot, provided they meet the required criteria and have a valid job offer in the respective occupation.
These pathways allow caregivers to receive an occupation-specific open work permit, enabling them to work in Canada without the need for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). By gaining relevant Canadian work experience, applicants can later qualify for permanent residence.
If you already have experience as a caregiver, it may be counted toward your eligibility, making the transition to permanent residency smoother.
At Atlas World Consultancy, we guide you through eligibility assessment, documentation, and the complete application process to help you build a stable future in Canada.
